The Cooling Castle Barn is our top choice if you’re looking for a rustic wedding venue in Kent. The barn is situated in the historic town of Rochester. Bewl Water, Lamberhurst
Bewl Water is a Kent wedding venue that fully embraces the natural world. At this venue, your wedding will be platformed at the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. A glance at the venue and you will be able to see why.

Chilston Park Hotel, Maidstone
Chilston Park Hotel is a gorgeous country house that dates back to the 17th century and has no shortage of historical charm. The country house has drawn politicians, writers and aristocracy to its drawing rooms. Now, it invites brides and grooms who are looking for exceptional Kent wedding venues.
The hotel has a capacity of 150 for the ceremony, 100 for the wedding meal and 250 for the evening reception. The surrounding Chilston park begs for exploration and keeps guests well occupied. The 22 acres are well maintained all year round and consist of stunning views, and the Garden Gazebo venue takes you right in the centred of it. Danson House, Bexley
This Georgian style manor is an exceptional wedding venue in Kent. Oozing with history and ornate decor, Danson House Registry Office has everything you need for a magical wedding day. The Manor House was first designed in 1766 by Sir John Boyd for his wife Catherine Chapone; after a period of abandonment Danson has since been lovingly restored and takes pride of place in the centre of much loved Danson Park.
With a spiralling staircase, extraordinary paintings and ornate gold décor, you will feel like royalty within the walls of Danson House. The Dining Room is available for 65 guests to be seated for a wedding ceremony. Other rooms such as Sir John Boyd’s Room are available for a more intimate 25 guests, The quirky hexagonal Salon can hold 45 guests whilst, The Johnston Room can hold just 12 guests; plenty of options to suit weddings of all shapes and sizes.
The grounds of Danson House, although not private, offer a fantastic opportunity to explore and capture some amazing wedding photographs. The English Garden is an excellent area to explore and if you are up for an adventure there are an abundance of trees to climb in the woodland area. The 200 acres of wonderful nature makes a fantastic backdrop on your wedding day. Early arrivals can mingle at nearby Danson Stables, a tasteful pub known locally for its amazing food, or you may choose to host your wedding reception there as they have a private area available to hire. I have photographed a lot of weddings at Danson House; Bethany and I love it so much got married there ourselves in 2021.

The Cave Hotel, Canterbury

Archbishops Palace, Maidstone
The Archbishops Palace is situated in the county town of Maidstone outlooking the River Medway. It’s Grade 1 listed 14th and 17th century features makes it a popular Kent wedding venue. The driveway is spacious for the entourage of transport of your choice, whether that is horse and carriage or a posh car. The lead up to the Palace provides majestic wedding photography opportunities that can be taken full advantage of. The front is spacious enough for full group photos as well as getting the Archbishops Palace in shot. Close by to the Palace is the Millennium Footbridge that shortly leads to Lock Meadow complex. The venues position by the river even makes it perfect for dramatic boat entries. The front Apothecary Gardens make for many exceptional wedding photography opportunities. Rianos, Maidstone
This mid-18th Century manor is one of our favourite Kent wedding venues for its stylish and adaptable features. There are a number of rooms to host your ceremony for all budgets and sizes. The Pavilion can hold your wedding from start to finish and is an ideal wedding venue in Kent. The Pavilion can cater up to 350 guests and is the space for large and lively weddings. This room is designed to bend to however you see fit and has potential to be beautifully decorated. It’s always pleasing to photograph guests getting emotionally at the ceremony or enjoying themselves in the evening within this spacious room.
The Long Room is for the smaller guest list. It fits a maximum of 100 guests and is located in the more private quarters of Rianos. Stylish and understated, you can make this room completely personalised and achieve great wedding photography.
The Main Bar Area is convenient location that can host your reception with a minimum of 40 guests and maximum of 100 guests. The wooden floor boards and arched doorways gives it a historic touch and a bit of character. It provides the best of both worlds by leading into the outdoor patio. The outdoor patio area perfectly complements the warmer months whilst allowing comfortable shelter when the weather turns.

Old Kent Barn, Dover
If you are looking for a barn Kent wedding venue, this is one of our favourites. The 200 year old barn has been adapted to host extraordinary weddings. The Old Kent Barn know how to customise your wedding for every season. Winter weddings can be a challenging season to work around, but the Old Kent Barn considers every detail. This wedding venue in Kent offers two oak framed barns that provides an organic and stylish theme.
The gorgeous garden grounds are beautifully crafted to provide romantic wedding shots that will stay with you forever. Lush arches of greenery and amorous pink flowers formulate an exceptional setting.

This is the best kept secret wedding venue in Kent. Backed by the beauty of the North Downs, this uniquely romantic venue will stay with you forever. The Secret Garden is ideal for anyone looking for a Kent wedding venue in a natural setting but with touches of modernity to compliment it.

Nettlestead Place, Maidstone
If you’re looking for a medieval manor for Kent wedding venue, this is a major one to consider. The exceptional venue is centuries old and provides fantastic photography opportunities at every step of your wedding day. It has held people in matrimony for centuries and could be your wedding destination next. The dramatic lead up to Nettlestead Place is a journey within itself. Nurstead Court, Gravesend
The Nursted Court is a country home dates back as early as the 14th century. Today, it is a family run business who has dedicated the country home to host luxury and unique weddings.
